The Roseburg Indians fought hard in their Southwest Conference game against the #2 Sheldon Irish, but the visitors from Eugene were too much in the end.

Roseburg scored first and only trailed 14-13 at the half, but the Irish slowly pulled away in the second half to take a 41-15 win.

In 4A football, Cody Gray threw 4 touchdown passes to lead South Umpqua to a 34-6 win over Brookings-Harbor. Taylor Gross had 3 touchdown receptions; Jonathan Warner scored on a TD reception and returned a fumble 49 yards for a touchdown in the Lancer victory.

Sutherlin fell to Elmira 45-28.

Camas Valley whipped Elkton 70-22 in 1A 8-man ball.
