Low Impact Fitness Class takes place at Boys & Girls Club (1144 NE Cedar Street in Roseburg).

It's Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9–9:45 a.m. and begins Tuesday, October 4.

The program is co-sponsored by the City of Roseburg Parks & Recreation Division and ATRIO Health Plans.

Organizers say the program features exercise in a fun group atmosphere. Workouts change daily so every
day is a new workout.

The cost is $1 per class on a drop-in basis. No time commitments or pre-registration is needed. They say to come when you can.

The program offers older adults an opportunity to socialize while enjoying a light exercise routine. Participants will warm-up with some stretching followed by light, low-impact exercise.

Class will close with stretching and a cool down period.

Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing and good walking shoes or sneakers.
