ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A head coach at Douglas High School is making the jump to class 6A Roseburg.

Roseburg High announced Friday that Brad Deaver will be taking over as the new head coach at Roseburg beginning in spring 2017.

Deaver (pictured in photo at right, with the 2016 Douglas Trojans) had most recentely been a co-head coach at Class 4A Douglas High in Winston.

The Trojans were the 2016 Far West League champs, finishing with a 13-2 league record and 19-6 overall.

Deaver replaces Tony Campos, who resigned after 14 seasons at Roseburg with a 252-117-1 overall record.
