Roseburg's disappointing 2016 football season ended on a positive note.

The Indians (0-6, 1-8) beat North Salem 39-6 Friday night at Finlay Field and avoided the school's first winless season since 1939.

Brendan Ibarra finished with a pair of TD runs (2, 15) and Austin Harris had a 20 yard interception return for a score as Roseburg rolled to the 33-point victory.

Terrell Jacks, Kyle Rackley and sophomore Isaiah Beck each had a 1 yard touchdown run.

Elsewhere, Douglas lost to Scapposse 47-27 in a Class 4A play-in game.
