South Umpqua will host a first round OSAA state playoff game this weekend.

The 7th ranked Lancers (5-3) entertain #10 Baker (7-2) Saturday afternoon at Kent Wigle Stadium in Tri City. 

SU had a bye last Friday, while the Bulldogs won their play-in game 49-15 over Stayton.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Camas Valley (7-2) hosts Lowell (8-1); Days Creek (7-2) is home with Arlington (6-2); and Reedsport (6-3) plays at Grant Union (5-3).

North Douglas (10-1) advanced in the 1A playoffs with a 50-28 win over Echo Friday night at Sutherlin High School. Cal Parks had 4 touchdowns and Dominic Aguilar had a pair of TD's as the Warriors rushed for 397 yards.
