North Douglas is the only local football team still playing in the OSAA state playoffs.

The 3rd-ranked Warriors beat Sherman 50-42 in a 1A quarterfinal games Saturday afternoon at Sutherlin High School. North Douglas led 44-12 at halftime and held off a second half comeback by the Huskies.

Next up, the Warriors (11-1) play #2 Crane (10-0) in the OSAA semifinals.

Elsewhere, the season came to an end for Days Creek (8-3) after suffering a 68-26 home loss to Dufur.
