TACOMA, Wash. -- The Umpqua Community College volleyball team shined bright Thursday in the first day of the NWAC Volleyball Championship Tournament in Tacoma, Wash.

The Riverhawks came into the tourney as a #4 seed from the Southern Division and picked up a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over #1 seed Bellevue at the Greater Tacoma Trade & Convention Center.

The 'Hawks came back from a 2-game deficit to win three straight for the victory in the double-elimination tournament.
