TACOMA, Wash. -- The Umpqua Community College volleyball team concluded its season Saturday at the NWAC Volleyball Championship Tournament in Tacoma.
Clark defeated UCC in two straight sets to eliminate the Riverhawks and end UCC's season Saturday morning. UCC finished the year with a 28-23 overall record.
On Friday, UCC fell in its second round game to Lower Columbia in straight sets, 3-0, before bouncing back for a 2-1 victory over Edmonds.

Lower Columbia is the only team to make it through the double-elimination tournament without a loss and is set to play for the championship against either Chemeketa or Linn-Benton. Lower Columbia would have to be beaten twice or the other team to win the title.
Thursday, UCC scored an upset win over Bellevue in the first round.
