The first NWAC womens basketball rankings of the season were released December 9.

Umpqua (5-1) received 58 points and was ranked number two behind league-rival Lane (6-0) in the Under Armour Coaches Poll.

The Titans got 78 points and all 7 first-place votes.

Columbia Basin (45) was third followed by  Walla Walla (44); Spokane (30); Lower Columbia (23); Skagit Valley (18); and Centralia (8).
