COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. -- With many local high school teams not playing due to icy weather conditions, the South Umpqua
boys and girls managed to get in a non-leaguer Tuesday.

And the Lancer boys played a tough one, ultimately defeating Cottage Grove 63-57 in overtime at Cottage Grove High School.

Riley Westbrooks hit a jumper with 4 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime. (You can see the game-tying shot in the video below.)

Cody Gray led the Lancers (8-3) with 25 points.

The South Umpqua girls fell to the Lady Lions 38-27.
