Many Douglas County teams took to the hardwood Friday in boy's and girl's basketball.

In boy's basketball, Willamette edged Roseburg for a close 50-47 Southwest Conference win in Class 6A.

In 4A Far West League, North Bend downed Douglas 64-61 and Siuslaw knocked off South Umpqua  39-32.

Sutherlin took care of Junction City 44-39 in the Sky-Em League.

Glide fell to La Pine 59-38 in 3A boys.

In Class 2A, Oakland defeated Douglas County rival CCA 55-20; Riddle downed Oakridge 67-56; and Bandon edged Reedsport 46-45.

In Class 1A, North Douglas defeated UVC 64-43; Days Creek topped Elkton 54-32; Powers whipped Yoncalla 71-37; and Camas Valley narrowly defeated Glendale 46-45.

In girl's hoops, Roseburg improved to 8-5 on the year with a 50-38 win over Willamette.

North Bend knocked off Douglas 57-50 in Far West League action; Siuslaw defeated South Umpqua 47-31.

Sutherlin nearly doubled up Junction City with a 58-30 Sky-Em League win.

Glide defeated La Pine 49-36 in 3A ball.

Oakland whipped CCA 58-15; Oakridge downed Riddle 42-36; and Bandon slid by Reedsport 52-47.

In Class 1A, Elkton defeated rival Days Creek 44-39; Yoncalla fell to Powers 45-19; and Glendale notched a 39-34 win over Camas Valley.

North Douglas smashed UVC 66-17.
