ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg wrestling team left no doubt Saturday on who the better wrestling squad was in its annual match-up with Crook County.

The Indians crushed the Cowboys, tallying a 57-9 victory in the overall team score before a packed house at Stewart W. Robertson Memorial Gymnasium.

Hunter Sparks won by ff at 113, then Junior Tommy Spence won by a fall in 1:49.

CC's Cole Morgan twon via fall in 2:47 over Damien Wells.

132 pounder Bennett Mesa won by a fall in 3:13 over #1 Pacer Quire.

At 138, sophomore Austin David won a close 7-6 decision.

Shane Sabins was victorious at 145 with a 5-0 decision.

Garrett Russell took a 18-7 major decision.

At 160, Layne VanAnrooy won a 27-12 technical fall, and Matt McDowell followed with a fall in 3:38 at 170.

At 182 Austin Harris added to his team-leading fall count with a 1:40 pin.

Cameron Campbell won a 5-4 decision over #1 Cade Woodward. Haydn Maley followed with a 17-0 technical fall at 220.

CC's Caleb Parrott topped Parker Adair 4-0 at 285 and Freshman Tristin David finished the evening at 106 with a 14-0 major decision over #2 Hunter Mode.
