Ten local wrestlers qualified for the 2017 OSAA 4A State Championships.

Marshfield won the team title Saturday at the Special Region 3 tournament at South Umpqua High School.

Douglas finished 3rd; and South Umpqua was 6th.

The host Lancers had three state qualifiers including district champion Josh Buehler (220); along with teammates Dustin Payne (145); and Cameron Crenshaw (138).

Cole Waldron (126) took first at the district tourament and will be joined at state by Brayden Schultz (195); Kadin Baker (182); Carter Dahl (170); Keagan McDowell (152); Landon Garrard (145); and Jacob Allen (113).

The state tournament begins February 24 in Portland.
