ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A popular brand of requested racing is making its way to the Douglas County Speedway this weekend.

The NSRA Winged Sprint Cars are returning to the Speedway for a critical points race.

Cam Cat, the HotTub Factory Outlet, and Umpqua Sand & Gravel present the Rick Brown Super Shoe.

Rougly 30 cars are set to take the track and race for the points, a large purse and the coveted Super Shoe Trophy.

"Along with the Modifieds, Hard Tops, and Hornets, this night of racing is gonna be intense," Speedway officials say.

The races are a family-friendly event.

The action is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for seniors, military, and kids 6 to 16. Children 5 and under are free.

This night of racing is a special event, so regular/sponsor tickets are not valid, only Special Event tickets and Season Passes are accepted.

The Speedway now accepts all credit and debit cards too.
