Elmira rallied for 7 runs in its final at-bat to beat South Umpqua 13-9 in a first-round playoff game Wednesday afternoon in Tri City.
The #4 Lancers held a 7-1 lead early in the game and still had a one-run advantage heading into the 7th inning. #13 Elmira scored 7 runs to take a 13-7 lead and held on for the four-run win.
Offensively, Aaliyah Rudy and Kalie Mann homered and Shaylyn Gray had 3 hits in the loss.
Elsewhere, North Douglas blanked Waldport 10-0; and Central Linn eliminated Oakland 6-5.
Roseburg's baseball season came to a close Wednesday after its 9-3 loss at Beaverton.
The Indians ended the year with a record of 16-12.
