Roseburg's Pepsi Bottlecaps inched closer to an Area 4 North title with a sweep of the Umpqua Lions Friday night.

Doran Gillespie gave up just three hits and struck out 8 batters in a 9-0 win in the opener. Offensively, Jonathan Stone was 3-for-4 with 3 RBI's.

Pepsi completed the sweep with a 20-3 rout in game two.

Gillespie, Spencer Six and Brody Black combined for 8 hits and 9 RBI's.

The Bottlecaps (17-3, 19-5) need just one more win to clinch the league title and earn a spot in the upcoming single-A state tournament.
