The 2017 American Legion baseball season will continue for Roseburg's Pepsi Bottlecaps.

North Willamette Valley won the state title with a 12-1 victory over Pepsi Sunday afternoon at North Marion High School.

Despite the loss, Roseburg (24-9) still qualified for this week's Regional tournament at Swede Johnson Stadium. That's because Eugene does not have a single-A team to host the event.

The 8-team tournament begins Friday, August 4.
