It was a 1A battle of Douglas County football teams Saturday afternoon at North Bend High School.

Camas Valley's Ryland Brown was 10-for-12 for 315 and 4 TD's leading the Hornets to a 44-24 victory over North Douglas.

Senior running back Ryan Weickum chipped in with 120 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns (2 run, 2 pass). Bridger Godfrey and Bryson Wolfe also caught a TD pass for Camas Valley (2-0).

North Douglas QB Brandon Rundell finished 15-for-26 for 152 and 3 TD's all to running back Caleb Parks (5 rec. 185 yds).

Gerardo Alcantar's rushing touchdown accounted for the Warriors' other score.
