CAMAS VALLEY, Ore. -- Following a loss at The Triad a week ago, the Camas Valley football team looked to rebound Saturday in 1A football.

The Hornets faced Douglas County rival Elkton and had no trouble, picking up a decisive 52-6 victory over the Elks to improve to 3-1 on the season.

It was the first loss of the season for the Elks, who fell to 2-1.

Up next, Camas Valley takes on Special District 2 foe Powers (1-3) Friday at 4 p.m. Elkton will face Prospect.
