After starting the year with three consecutive wins, Oakland lost 3-of-4 games, including an 0-3 record in the Mountain View Conference.

 

Now, the Oakers (6-3) are back to their winning ways beating Lost River 28-15 on the final night of the regular season to capture the league's #2 seed in the OSAA 2A state playoffs. Then, #11 Oakland traveled to 6th-ranked Gold Beach and upset the Panthers 45-14.

 

Up next, Oakland (6-3) heads to CMH Field in Astoria for a quarterfinal matchup with unbeaten and 3rd-ranked Knappa (9-0) on Saturday, November 11.
