ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Dr. Stewart's stumbled to the finish line during the final weekend of Area 4 action.

League champion Medford (17-3, 37-9) swept a pair of doubleheaders with the Docs Saturday and Sunday to lock-up the Area 4 title.

Dr. Stewart's (9-11, 22-20) finished tied for 3rd place with Klamath Falls (9-11, 22-23), while Grants Pass (10-10, 24-17) jumped to number two in the final Area 4 standings.

Roseburg is hosting the 2018 'AAA' state tournament and automatically qualifies for the postseason. Three league champions have also qualified including Medford, Hillsboro and Mid Valley.
