Freshman Kade Johnson scored a team-high 15 points helping South Umpqua earn its first Far West League win of the season.

Fellow freshman Ever Lamm added 13 points and sophomore Zack Wilson finished with 11 points in the Lancers 59-56 victory over Douglas Thursday night in Tri City.

Trojan junior Braeden Edwards led all scorers with 25 points and senior Austin West added 11 points in the loss.

SU and Douglas are now tied at 1-5 in FWL action.
