GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- The Roseburg wrestling team once again dominated league foes at the Southwest Conference district championship Saturday in Grants Pass.

The Indians took first place with a team score of 543.5 points, ahead of North Medford (310) and Grants Pass (280).

Taking home titles for Roseburg included Nash Singleton (113), Kahleb Diaz (126), Austin David (152) Darian Thacker (160), Logan Folsom (170), and Rourke Martin (182).

The top three placers in each weight class advance to the 6A state tourney next weekend in Portland.

Elsewhere, Douglas qualified nine wrestlers for the 3A state meet following the Special District 3 tournament at UCC. Sutherlin will send eight wrestlers and South Umpqua three.

In the 2A/1A District 2 meet, Glide took top honors with 222 points, ahead of Reedsport (217.5) and Central Linn (201.5)
